Sula formed in 2001 at the University of East Anglia as first year students. Since then the band have worked to find their own sound and identity, develop a live presence and capture it all in the studio. In pursuit of these ambitions the band have moved in together to make socialising, writing and rehearsing effortless. The success of their gigs and one-day studio demos has been mixed; whilst having been received extremely well publicly, privately the band feel their sound is yet to be truly captured.
2004 promises more for the band; new music, the first concerted effort to make a dent in the industry and hopefully the transition to bigger stages.
Sula are: Rob Liddiard (Vocals), Chris Williams (Guitar), Rob Smyth (Drums) and Tom Smith (Funk).
