Band/artist history
Eddie (Damon S) and Henry have known each other since age 7. Others have come and gone, but Suitcase 72 has always been and primarily is the brainchild of these two core members, who have been the soul of the band's songwriting, recording and production. We would like to thank those with whom we have been fortunate enough to play, including Wade Meitz, John Cowan, Matt Channing, Arron Breford, Dan Passarelli, Jeremy Smolen, and Don Whaley. Also, a mention of appreciation to the fans who have seen us live, and those who still listen to our material on soundclick.
While there will be new songs to come by Suitcase 72, Henry (Bill G) has been involved in a few different projects, including 1)playing guitar and keys for The Cannons, 2)forming a new band and again taking on guitar, lead vocal and keyboard duties that is currently gigging in NW Indiana called Flychild, and 3)most recently having been recruited to play in Grand Theft Audio, which will play primarily in the Chicago area.
Hope to have some new material for our listeners sometime in the near future.

Hi;
I'm back listening to your recordings. I'm very impressed with you song "Beatnik Friendly". The guitar riffs in this song have a nice hook and so does the melody in the vocals. I like music with a beat that accents the bass quitar. This song does that very well making a very strong bottom but yet not overwhelming the music. I've added this song to songswriter's station. and I vote this song hot. I dig you sound and I am wishing you much continued success with your music.
Dynomite rocks. Nice transitions, timing, love the lyrics, like the bands harmony.
dynomite or plastic was dynomite. as before, excellent originality, and dug the doors-like keyboard on this one.

You ROCK dudes. Keep up the excellent work !
"Better Yourself" is a great ballad. I dig the harmonies and the lead vocals remind me of the Beatles. This song's instrumentation also is very supportive and complimentary of the melodya vocal style. Excellent tune. I vote this hot and I've blogged this song on my space as well as added it to "Songswriter's Station". I am sharing this song with my friends. Thanks for sharing this song on soundclick.
