Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Suffer Ever After was conceived in Burlington, Ontario, Canada in mid 2004 with Jeff Watson ( Col Chunk/Copper Throat, Hatred of a Minute and Sub-Assembly) on drums, Peter Irwin ( Col Chunk/Copper Throat, Hatred of a Minute and Sub-Assembly) on vocals and Chad McDonald (Col Chunk/Copper Throat, Hatred of a Minute) on guitar. After writing a several songs the members were forced to commit to other responsibilities for a few months. They were later "reformed" and added Andre Plante (Hatred of a Minute and Encased) on bass and Damien Mills ( Strych-9 and Beneath Blue Skies) also on vocals.
With the line-up complete the writing process began. With an eclectic range of influences to draw from, the songs are dynamic, almost organic in nature. From gentle (Pink Floyd, Opeth), to brutal ( Crowbar, Eye Hate God) and the in between ( Clutch, System of a Down, Faith No More) every song developed a "what's next" feel with out losing what Suffer Ever After is all about... METAL!!!.
Suffer Ever After's live performance is without a doubt, is energetically entertaining and "over the top". There is no compromises live, no compromise musically.
