Such started in 2005 when EJ Talaroc started materializing his concept of mixing together different people from various musical influences. Despite the varying perspective and musical orientation, the result was positive.
The founding members EJ Talaroc (Cynosure), Michael Pacalioga (Smokefree), Kushella Lluch (I-Scream), Brando Bartolome (Fathergore), and John Bermundo (Cynosure) immediately came up with 5 songs and was recorded at Phadj Studios.
The EP wasn't released until 2008 due to a lot of internal commotion that went on within the group. The line up was changed, EJ and Michael left the band for undisclosed reasons. The Self - Titled EP was released and promoted through the efforts of a new line up of members which included Simon Sabuero (Del Monstros) on the guitar, Adrian Gavino (Jujubums) on bass, which was later replaced by Mark Banaag (Green Leafy Veggies) who was also was the man behind the recording/mixing/editing and mastering of the band's album. Such went into an indefinite hiatus in 2009. Some of the members went on and formed Turbo Wives with Fanfan Macarambon as their main vocalist.
In September of 2010, the founding members (Kushella, Mike, EJ, Brando, John) brought their act back up and re-formed Such with Simon in the lineup and started writing songs. The re-energized Such performed for the first time after the hiatus at "Musikahan sa BATC" in Late October and from then on, they pushed forward, improving every aspect of their musicality, stage presence as well as other things.
In June 2011, Such released their second studio recording and first full - length album called "Forward to Hastings", and to celebrate it, they organized an album launching gig, and to their utter amazement, was attended by an estimated 300 people.
To promote the album, the band worked with Barbex Films to produce the Music Video for "Run" and with Govi Murillo of Shutterbug Creative for the "True" Music Video.
The band is currently writing new materials for the upcoming second full-length album.
