subversive intentions

"I like noise because it makes you look at music in a completely different way. Theories like melody and rhythmn are thrown out the window and you begin to see a song not just as verse chorus verse but as an intriquet collection of sounds, an auditory collage. With this frame of mind you can appreciate any kind of music. I try to illustrate this in what I do. I try to work outside of the notion that guitar (or even vocal melody) drives a song, which is difficult being a guitarist, but its a lot of fun. Its incredible to sit back listening to a tack I created and say "wow there is no guitar there" the meat and potatoes of the song might be my voice distorted and slowed down, or sound of a piece of paper being crinkle, reversed then slowed. I use a lot of different sounds in this." n.d. dentico+
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was spawned from the apartment of n.d. dentico in late summer 2004 as a departure from the varied world of alternative guitar rock, and means to alleviate boredom. It quickly grew in a fasination after r. moore, fellow band from Sado One and Apache Smile, lost interest in it. n.d. dentico took it under his "mouse pad" and donned it subversive intentions
