Substancial
Well there is no band, im an aspiring Emcee, as you can see, i call myself Substancial. I started out writing as a tool to release agression and any other feeling that would jepordize my sanity, and i still do alot of that kind of writing cuz i dont quite feel like going insane. As the months go by, i've been slowly expanding everything about me and my music, getting new hopes, new inspirations, slowly improving my lyrical content and making sure that im satisfied with my music and that its the best i can possibly do for the time and experience. Im still quite younge and im still learning a LOT of new techniques and such. I've been in love with hip-hop since i first heard it (as a kid i was woken up by Cypress Hill every morning due to my brother) so its been in my brain and in my heart for MANY years. I love the hip-hop culture, i think it's an amazing way to show creativity, everything from b-boying/girling, grafiti, poetry, general beat production and the style itself. The most inspirational hip-hop artist in my life: are most of the Wu-Tang because they are legends and some of them are just simply gifted (Method Man, RZA, GZA) the punchlines, flows and sheer realness is breathtaking. My second inspirational artist is Proof (R.I.P) Although he never made it super big without the help of Eminem, i think he was Better then Em. Proof's voice alone would demonstrate that, But his mixtapes released such emotion and feeling that there is NO way you could say he was a happy man. And with the years of Hip-Hop in my blood, my utter LOVE for it, and my constant strive to be better, I stand here as..SUBSTANCIAL..
