"...sound design for an imaginary life"Band/artist history
subduxtion is the pseudonym of U.S. based electronic musician/producer Christophe G. Residing previously in the vacuous sprawl of Orange County, Ca. now having re-located to Chicago, Il. subduxtion creates music that is equal parts low frequency sculpture and soundtrack inspired. Combining my love for film music and "glitch" programming with drum & bass, circuit bending, dub, dancehall, hip-hop and metal; I strive to create something that is both atmospheric and head-nodding. I think of myself as an abstract sound - sculptor not a songwriter (in the traditional sense). Sound - sculpting is more about creating a cinematic environment. With most of my music being instrumental there is a deliberate attempt to create something that provokes the imagination. Stimulate the mind and the body will follow.Have you performed in front of an audience?I hope to begin playing live later this year or early next year.
