Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
If you like hardcore, explosive metal accompanied by a groovy feel, then you need to check out Subcyde! Based in Charlotte, NC,this new band implements a style of music that utilizes raw, heavy and aggresive sound mixed with creative improvisations of funk and southern rock. The lyrics of seventeen-year-old Travis Huffstickler, address issues arising from struggels deep within the soul encountered during youth and existence. Jake Broughton incorporates pure heavy metal, southern rock and melody into a creative and powerful style of guitar. Bass player, Eddie Cousins, keeps the crowd moving by combining slow grooving bass lines with raw slam. The product of these four young musicians of the Southeast is slow-grooving tunes exploding into wild chaos. Subcyde is dedicated to their fans and encourages the support of live music. Subcyde recognizes the importance of establishing trust, respect and confidence among those who have helped them achieve.
