Style Keepers
The Style Keepers are: Dart Mouth, Simple, Stephonics, DJ Adam Bomb. We make hip-hop music, all original and all real. There are two American emcees in physical form, one German emcee who's presence is felt in intercontinental essence, and a DJ that exsists in vinylarist presence.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Style Keepers originated as a B-Boy/Emcee/DJ crew, and progressed to it's current state. There are many side projects within the crew (The Verbalists; Solo Efforts from both Stephonics and Dart Mouth; house music from Simple).
Your musical influences
Life is our musical influence. Groups that are within hip-hop as well as those that are outside of the genre have inspired us. Our style could be likened to A Tribe Called Quest, Atmosphere, or many other underground hip-hop artists.
