Student Tragedy are a four piece, unsigned Pop Punk band from Mid-Wales with a sound that has been described as a cross between Greenday and My Chemical Romance.
With an upbeat, lively stage act and fun chaotic fans, Student Tragedy are hoping to make it far in the music industry.

The band was originally based in the small town of Dolgellau in Snowdonia and developed a large fan base in the area. Student Tragedy has four members. Each has their own history. Tom and Chris were originally in another band called Heroes For All, but the band split due to musical differences.
Tom and Chris then joined forces with Rhodri and ex-member: Rhys to create 'Student Tragedy' and they began creating music right away. They have supported bands like Three Minute Warning and Fenks in small local venues.
Since then, the band's 'Base' has moved to Aberystwyth and Chris has set up a studio there. Lee joined the band and replaced Rhys as bassist due to the fact that Rhys found it difficult to make it to practices. The other members did what was best for both the band and Rhys and decided to let him go.
Now, the band concentrates on getting heard, by arranging gigs and sending out demo's!Your musical influences

I'd like to hear that Welsh accent! be true to who you be - it's the only thing detracting from a pretty proffesional sounding unit.
