Strynge Avenues
Simple Bedroom mania really... Only myself and my friend plodding our way through the murky depths of music, with the occasional guest in on various instruments.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started off with myself plucking away on various instruments and then finally getting the equipment to record with. Around a year later I was drunk with some friends and decided to let them hear some of my stuff. We had a lovely drunken session with it, singing lyrics to it 'off the cuff'... something which I still enjoy, might I add.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Occasional live perfomances, though mainly acoustic venues in pubs.
Your musical influences
I'd say my influences would be along the lines of Pink Floyd, the Doors, Country Joe and the Fish, although I doubt strongly that our music actually sounds like any of these... although, this is probably a good thing. My friends influences stem more from the Rap side of affairs, which I think gives us a strange sound, albeit interesting.
