this is me...Strick 9....the white rapper reppin Boston haha. im in the group "The Assasinz" with Hardkore and M-dot(of the group E.M.S.). we just finished our first mixtape, and we are now currently workin on our first album Lyrical Storm. M-dot just finished up his first solo album E.very M.an S.truggles and my first album is currently in the works. You may know Hardkore, he makes unreal beats around the boston area and his stuff is really taken off. Our main goal is to touch all audiances and cover all the topics many people tend to leave out of their music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
i started writing when i was about 15, and freestyling with dif. people, and as i grew it became more and more of my focus in life...just to rap and write. i started producing tracks finally last year and now im on the way toward pressin my first mixtape
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
not yet, im still workin on tracks and beats and as soon as ive got most of them completed then im gunna start performin.
Your musical influences
my major influences are basically anyone who pocesses skill and works with it. i grew up listining to old school rap and then moved into broader types of rap as i got older.im into lyrics that make u think, and evertime u hear a track u can catch something u may have missed.
What equipment do you use?
most of my music is generated from Sony Acid Pro. i make all my beats and write all my material
