Streetwise Records
Streetwise Records- Established in 2004 and going strong for the last 4 years.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Since the beginning, many thought of this as a joke. No one really had faith in the operation dispite a select few of my peers. Eventually, the weak died off and tha strong survived. Now I intruduce to the world one of the most talented establishments in the Chicago/ Midwest area.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I perform open mics anywhere availible in Chicago. Giavanni's in Dolton is a specific one that I do every monday. (1131 e. Sibley Blvd. Dolton Il.)
Your musical influences
Wu-tang, MC Lyte, Afrika Bambatta, Rakim, Dr. Dre. Talib Kweli, Common, Nas. All time greatest; rest in peace Notorious B.I.G. / Tupac Shakur. Long story short, anything that has anything to do with REAL HIPHOP. Not this finger snappin' bullshit of today.
What equipment do you use?
Roland XP 30. Konnekt 8 audio interface with Nuendo 3 as my vsti host recording software. The MPC 2500 and Roland Td-7 Sound Module. It doesn't take a million dollar studio to make a million dollar sound.
Anything else?
