Strap The Button

A COP takes a radio call as he streaks down the long wide avenue which borders Gotham Park -- one of the few streets which is relatively clear. The COP at the wheel goes wide-eyed and nudges his partner in disbelief. Before their eyes, FIVE SNOWMOBILES appear from the cross streets up ahead and CONVERGE at the entrance to Gotham Park. Bringing up the rear is SANTA CLAUS. What the hell -- ? ...we are strap thebutton.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
There was me, that is Jack, and my three droogs, that is Gavin, Sioned and Ben and we sat in the Korova milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova Milk Bar sold milkplus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence. Our pockets were full of money so there was no need on that score, but, as they say, money isn't everything. So we formed a band. and then we got dom after mark left.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. Yes. Imaginary cloud stadiums and ocean liners. We don't like falling off instruments at gigs, it's embarrassing and paintful.
Your musical influences
Pink Floyd, Chewbacca from Star Wars, Cream, Marijuana, Radiohead, Captain Beefheart, Call it a Clunes, The Doors, Dare to Believe, Salvador Dali, The average colour of a Rainbow, Fungi, Alice in Wonderland and Cheese.
What equipment do you use?
Drums: Ive got a crappy 5 piece CB, but im upgrading and improving bits of it all the time. I have reskined the lot with remo pinstripes and ive got a full set of Sabians including splach and china. Pearl double bass pedal, Yamaha hi hat gibraltar rock and tama roadpro stands. Now ive got pretty good hardware im hoping to upgrade my shell pack soon - but its an expensive buisness! Guitar: My equipment consists of a Marshall 150W advanced Valvestate (AVT). Which has two OD channels, a lovely clean channel and an acoustic simulator which serves as an extra clean. I use a Morley Bad Horsie Wah which i probably use too much, and a Digitech Whammy. Now that's a good pedal. Synth: J'ai une microkorg DSP analogue modelling synth et vocoder, un Theremin, une toy piano, un yamaha Portasound PSS-780 (un synth digit) et une radiocasette. Bass: I have a Vintage imitation Musicman/Ernie Ball Sting Ray, it's very pretty. I have a 60W Fender Bass amp and Zoom 505: Digital Guitar Effects unit. I also have a Guitar Tuner. On top of these i have a 3/4 size Double Bass and a Didjeridu. Vocals: A microphone.
Anything else?
One thing I could never stand is to see a filthy, dirty old drunkie, howling away at the filthy songs of his fathers and going blerp, blerp in between as it might be a filthy old orchestra in his stinking rotten guts. I could never stand to see anyone like that, whatever his age might be, but more especially when he was real old like this one was. The boys stop and applaud him. Can you... can you spare some cutter, me brothers? Alex rams his stick into the Tramp's stomach. The boys laugh. Oh-hhh!!! Go on, do me in you bastard cowards. I don't want to live anyway, not in a stinking world like this.
