Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been rapping for since about '99 just with my mates and shit, you know - tryin to immitate the latest rapper and stuff.
Started off seriously, as "BUGA" in 2000 making shitty beats on hip-hop ejay, writing basic flows etc, just experimenting with styles etc.
Now ive changed my name to STRANGEWAYZ coz i like to think im on the next level now, and a new name and outlook on this game is what i needed.
Shits been depressing, its been hard work - but its also been a lot of fun and i have some great memories about the past. i'm not where i want to be musically yet, but we all have to start from the bottom of the ladder. Like most people hip-hop is a passion, a way of life.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Was in Barcelona a few weeks back, they had some hip-hop night on in the club i was in, hooked up with the dj and blew up a little freestyle, apart from that no, too busy writing/recording right now.
Your musical influences
everyone in hip-hop, no matter how shit you think they are, you got to give em spect coz they made it from where i am now, i look at rappers like footballers - they may have a shit match, but theyre all superstars, coz they worked hard to get where they are, someone spotted their talent, they worked for years perfecting their game, and they are a part of history - good or bad.
