Strange Radio

Strange Radio is a radio-friendly, female-fronted edgy LA-based pop band whose songs will draw you in w/ear candy female vocals, catchy grooves, and radio-friendly, hook-oriented melodies that will stay in your brain long after the first listen.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A few friends got together with the intent of writing some really good songs and did. We recorded and mixed and pressed everything on our own. We've been on Buffy, the Vampire Slayer twice, had more than one song in a feature length movie (the latest being "It's A Guy Thing" with Jason Lee and Julia Stiles), "I Believe" got to be "Track of the Day" garageband.com on May 15, 2003, performed live on stage at the Irvine Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in May of 2001 with Third Eye Blind, The Go-Gos, Eve 6, and Billy Idol, were winners of the Pop music category as well as the overall Grand Prize Winners of ArtistsDirect’s “BornOnTheWeb” contest in October, 2000, and they opened for FanNation May, 2001.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah, we have in the past. Mostly recording now, though. More new songs coming soon.
