Hailing from Missouri, emcees Slow, Gritty White and Dead Priest form the hip hop super group Strange People. Since 2005 they have been fusing a strong foundation in the old school with a progressive frame of mind, they bring a distinct sound and an energetic live set loaded with high quality beats and thoughtful lyrics. After 6 years as a group and a combined total of 420 years spent honing their respective crafts, they are still looking forward to reaching a wider fan base and opening minds. Strange People is a concept of total elevation representing the voice of voiceless in society. Between the infectious energy at their live performances and thorough understanding and respect of the history of rap music, Strange People is a return to the conscious MC who draws from the rhythmic feel of his art to progress to a new yet classic style of hip hop music which is accessible to all. Their mastery of the word solidifies their position as one of the most unique voices of hip hops new generation. Strange People views their music as life. Welcome Home...
