Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I recently left my band 'Burning Rubber Icons' to concentrate on my writing and recording. It gave me the freedom to chose the projects that I wanted to get involved with.
I have recently been to Italy to work with one of the top producers/writers of dance/ambient, I recorded six tracks for his new album which is due out late 2003, it was a brilliant experience the songs are beautiful and the team really looked after me and got the best out of my vocals.
I am also looking at a project with producer/writer Tom Ackley who is based in New Jersey and producer Donna Cole who is currently in the uk, although mostly based in Canada.It will be dance/breakbeat/ambient.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live at the moment as I am recording mostly for various people. I kinda miss gigging but in London they try to rip you off!!
Your musical influences
David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Massive Attack, FC Kahuna, Love , Prodigy, John Barry ,Sneaker Pimps, Air,Portishead,Simian,Goldfrapp, Primal Scream and Madonna!! plus lots more interesting stuff.
What equipment do you use?
I use anything that comes to hand.......
Anything else?
I am always looking for new and dynamic people to work with, a long term project would be good too.
I love to travel (always willing to go wherever a good project/band takes me) Would even love to start gigging again (avoiding the toilets and rip off gigs of the past).
