StraightFork
Straightfork is a four piece rock machine from Houston Texas that is all about pure Rock & Roll. Straightfork was formed in October of 2004 and since then the quartet has been playing all over Texas. Straightfork strives to put out a hard driving classic rock sound that seems to be missing in todays music. With so many influences behind them such as AC/DC, Guns N'Roses and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name a few, its hard to place this fresh new act into one genre of rock. They like to call it real Texas Rock and Roll. Many are curious about the name, which comes from a street sign in guitarist Tyler's neighborhood. The group always passed the street on the way to practice and automatically knew that was the name that would represent their unique style of rock. Just like the band, the name sounds different, and a little southern, but it also reminds them where home is. Driving, soloing guitars, honest southern styled vocals, and good times are what Straightfork is all about.
