Infused is an indie alternative rock band from Central Pennsylvania. Infused was founded in the early 2000s out of the remnants of the band, Upstream. Infused has a diverse style of influences ranging from rock to blues to alternative. Members include Shawn Huss - vocals and acoustic guitar, Adrianna Huss - vocals, Rod Skelley - electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard and drums, and Dave Carles on bass. Infused albums include Beyond Cohesion (2004), Believe (2010) and Fade to Gray (2011), Auto Epiphany (2021) and Divine Sunset (2022). Singles include Manipulate Time (2011), Never (Acoustic Anthem for Ukraine) (2022), Within (Empty) (2022), Within (Empty and Quiet) (2022), You're Not Going That Way (2022), Please Don't Abandon Me (Acoustic Version) (2022), You Will Stay (2023).

Story behind the song
See Through Thing is the first song on the 2021 Infused album, Auto Epiphany. It was a cool and upbeat song written by Shawn Huss. It is essentially a song about two people who are in love and trying to face the world together. The version of See Through Thing on Auto Epiphany features Shawn Huss on vocals and acoustic guitar, Dave Carles on bass and Rod Skelley on electric guitar. This is a special song for the band. It was originally recorded and released on a cassette demo as part of a collection of songs written, recorded and released by Shawn Huss for acoustic guitar and vocals back in the early 90s. Later See Through Thing was recorded again by the band Upstream that included Shawn Huss on vocals and acoustic guitar, Rod Skelley on electric guitar, Ben Wysocki on bass and J.D.Heverly on drums in an arrangement for a full band. Upstream was the band that became Infused in the 2000s. We were excited to record See Through Thing again and bring it new life. We tried to remain true to the spirit of the original with its long intro and fun acoustic guitar breakdown after the guitar solos. Looking forward to bringing back more of these Upstream originals in the future. For now enjoy See Through Thing on Auto Epiphany and another Upstream original, It's Coming Home on the 2010 album, Believe.
