Las Motitas is an alt-Americana acoustic band that combines elements of classic roots music with contemporary and world styles to create a joyous, fresh yet familiar sound. Las Motitas incorporates folk, blues, jazz, rap, tin pan alley, spoken word, ranchera and punk into their music. The group’s music has been compared to the Beatles, the Hollies, the Mamas & the Papas, the Kinks (acoustic sessions) and System of a Down. Las Motitas first performed on June 1, 2022. Between then and the end of 2024, Las Motitas had 134 performances. They recorded most all performances and are happy to share with you their favorite live performances of some of their favorite songs and performance on their latest album Las Motitas Live 2022-2024 The live album was released on June 1, 2025, three years after their first performance. Las Motitas is: Raquel Tenorio, a Peruvian metalhead from the Midwest and Adam Benitez, a Chicano punk-rockero from West LA.
