Original rock
kip reitz columbus georgi
I'm a rock guitar player in Columbus, Georgia looking for other band members to play clubs and small theaters.
Kip here! I've been playing guitar and writing songs for quite a while now. Typically my tunes are in the blues-rock, classic rock vein, but some delve slightly into jazz and classically-inspired. I'm looking to find some band members to play clubs and small theaters here in the southeast. While you're online, please go to YouTube and search for Kip Reitz and check out some of my videos. There are covers as well as originals there. Thanks for stopping by!

Story behind the song
Music written in 1988 while living in a ratty apartment and attending college. Lyrics written in 2008 after finally deciding what I wanted the song to be about.
Lyrics
Pissed Off I got five motherf*** ers on the street corner Telling me the color that Ia019m wearing aina019t right I got a TV preacher saying, a01CLord, Ia019m glad to meet you And for twenty dollars youa019ll see the light.a01D I got a man and a woman got married on a Friday And by Monday they were talking divorce I got a draft-dodging president telling all the boys he sent to war Not to show no remorse Good GOD! (bridge) Do as I say, not as I do It doesna019t matter anyway a018cuz thata019s 20 for me, and nothing for you So just listen when I say (chorus) Ia019m pissed off Pissed off Ia019m pissed of I got people over here telling people over there You better keep it in the dark But the people over here think that people arena019t aware That their own lives miss the mark Talking heads on the TV trying to persuade me That everything they tell me is right But more than anything else they try to justify themselves So they can fall asleep at night (bridge/chorus) The wise man say the people in high places Gotta be the ones who start To make reality a place for you and me And bring it closer to our hearts But I aina019t holding my breath cuz when I look at the mess The fools have left to you and me I think ita019s safe to say you gotta pay to play Now tell me, would you disagree -Kip Reitz
