Story behind the song
Ila was a wonderful painter, featured in American Artist magazine, who painted beautiful mountain landscapes and pictures of horses and other animals. She also illustrated children's books and wrote poems. No matter what was happening around her, she sat and painted the beautiful world that was a reflection of her own beautiful soul. This is also recorded as a piano solo on two other albums.
