Story behind the song
My first song is simple yet beautifully haunting, evoking my sense of awe and wonder regarding our lost Twin Cities streetcar system. I was completely surprised to learn we had one of the largest trolley systems in the country, but willingly burned them all and tore up the rails, one year after I was born. I had no idea. Like tears in the rain, no one will know our past if we don't honor, cherish and share our history.
