Super Curly and Friends-Theme of Smog
Oh! Beautiful. I've wanted to be an animator since, as I always cite, the age of two-and I've built up a large list of characters. This in particular is a theme song I composed for one of my villians-'Smog.'
I began my tenure here as a vocal percussionist back in the early millennium under the name Beatboxing AC. This is my variety page.
Story behind the song
My show, as I would describe, started becoming epic sometime in '05. And, being in 12th grade (present), I felt it was getting too late in the game for me not to have things like theme songs, etc. established. I always used my favorite movie themes-but those weren't originial. So, after playing a copy of Splatterhouse on Nintendo's VC..I loved the way the 'evil cross' level's theme worked. Started with a nice sounding 'churchy' organ-then going into an eviler fight theme.
That gave me an idea-to start with an "intro"-something soft. Within moments my imagination had conjured up a melachony theme that fit my orignial char's dead mannerisms and grinding hellacious voice. This is also like my..2nd work with my MIDI and my first time actually utilizing scales.
