Story behind the song
After my Tad died, my family and I cast his ashes into the ocean off Woodgate beach in Qld - it was one of his favourite places - so that he could continue to do what he loved the most: travel the world and meet interesting folk! ... but he so loves my Mam, I expect he spends most of his time lapping at the shores of Woodgate beach, waiting for her to join him... waiting for his love. xxx
