I started playing guitar in Jan. of 07 and formed Diggity Dave and his Cheap Guitar Band. Currently I have 2 cassettes/CD's out entitled: "Live at Ireson's Pub" and "Too Much Grainy Alcohol"..I am in the works on my 3rd and 4th albums as of now, which will be called "Through The Crevasses Of The Couch" and "Gravy And Vittles".

Story behind the song
I was eating a cheese sandwich, and a fly was flying around it, as I tried to swat it away with my hat..my hat hit the sandwich, knocking it into the floor and ruining it. I decided I would write a song where a fly met it's demise because of cheese...and this is it.

A fly flew across the room Landing on a piece of cheese, It ate the cheese so happily Then it began to sneeze, A dog nearby heard the fly And decided that the fly should die, He jumped on the table landing on the cheese Then paused a moment to scratch at some fleas, The fly flew away saying this time I win I'll never be this lucky again, Not a moment had passed A boy came in, This boy was wearing a devilish grin, With the stroke of his swatter He killed him with ease, The poor little fly who wanted some cheese.
