Ethereal sound scapes set against cohesive ambient movement, coinhabiting space and time by soulful rythums and marked by heartful beats.
Like many creative people, my childhood dream of getting the sounds, modulated rythums and movement of sound, which throughout my life has resonated within my mind, out into the open for others to hear, explore and enjoy, eluded me for many years. My life was fraught to angst and turmoil. I ended up homeless, hungry and alone. Through the course of recovery I embarked upon a path of spiritual awakening. A path which has taken me across our nation and remote places throughout the world. I now own all that a possess, my home, vehical and all, and live a life free from debt. In 2003 I invested in the construction and furnishing of an Art & Recording Studio, and set out to capature that previously lost dream. Last year, I quit my lucrative professional career in the Insurance Industry, and began the process that getting my work out to the people. What you will find here, in my work, is the colmination of my lifes experience and the realization of that once lost dream.

Story behind the song
Though I could no longer condone the practice, and have no more interest in it at all, I have, back in the day, wondered with intent and purpose deep into the vast open cattle fields that once existed an hours drive north of my once long time home in North Miami, Florida. This, in a hunt for our then prized Golden Mushrooms. I held a deep respect for such things and didn't do this on more than a handful of occations. There was this one thing that always occurred and never failed to amaze me, far more than the cause and resultant effect of the prize. Everytime we went out deep into the fields, into the dim light of dawn, the dew from the wafting thick fog that bellowed forth off the small lakes and ponds which dot the landscape soaking through to our feet. Free from any mind altering substances, we could, one and all of us, see people forms and fleeting movement in the fog. We all found it more than just a little amusing. My friends found it likewise difficult to acclimate themselves to these repeat occrrences. They often felt so certain they saw a person walking in the distance, they'd go off in search of them to prove it to themsleves that they weren't seeing things not there. There were even occations when we could literaly feel their presence around us, at times even hearing them move about. My friends reacted to these occasions with so small degree of amimation. But would never admit to it to anyone outside our small circle of friends. So, this tune is evokative of those few yet very memorable occasion. The painting now titled "God's Like These #1," had first been painted in 1987, the year before I'd moved to the country in East Texas, that breifly resided in a less than austere contemporary arts gallery in Miami. Told that the place I'd stored this and others had been damged in a storm and flooded distroying the paintings, they were subsequently returned years latter in remarably fine condition. Listening to the tunes presented here, I over painted the original paintings, one and all to create this new body of work. I edited out a small portion of this temp photo to meet applicable guildlines set forth by SoundClick.
