"Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan are writers/musicians/singers/producers who have had a number of hits on Epic, Columbia, Mercury, UA, RCA, and other majors. Their main airplay has been in the Country area, with crossovers to Pop, but they are so different that nobody can figure out exactly what they are. They write and produce their own recordings, and are also Jazz musicians, as many Country artists have been. Among their credits are: "Billboard Country Duet of the Year", and they are Grammy Nominees. Their first hit was "Tennessee Birdwalk". The Jack & Misty stage show consists mostly of original music, comedy, and audience rapport."

Story behind the song
Jack Blanchard's first recording session, at Howell Studios, Buffalo NY, late 1950s. The Dawn Breakers were on Coral Records, a subsidiary of Decca Records. Jim Warne, Buddy Baker, Jack Blanchard, and Don Fronczak: vocals. Jack Blanchard: piano. At that time we didn’t have recording tape. We recorded through a needle onto an aluminum disc coated with some kind of black shellac. If somebody hit a wrong note you threw away the disc and started a new one. It was mono and there was no mix down. I had to sing and play the piano at the same time. When one of the Dawn Breakers took a solo part, he had to step into the mike. What you sang was what you got.
