Paul Allgood,Baxter Smith, and Lee Whitsel formerly comprised Chapel Hill, North Carolina's electro pop outfit Wedlock. They are best described as a combination of new disco, techno pop, and digital funk. They carved their own niche in the local dance scene with live instrumentation, while also incorporating strong personal and sometimes politically charged lyrics. Their full length,Continuity, was released in October 2009 and January 2010 saw Paul Allgood and Wedlock writing and producing The Blameless Ep for singer Br'yanna Rain as well as the release of their own latest EP in August.

Story behind the song
The song reminds me of good times on the weekend and escapism.People either really get into the groove of this track or they call what we've done "trite," or too much of a cliche.' These are the same people who listen to the Beatles or the Rolling Stones and call what they do profound, when to me they were really only trying to reach a common chord with their audience.
