Story behind the song
Several years ago, after many requests, I recorded worship music on the piano. I did this to worship the Lord and to provide people with music to pray by. In the years that have passed since then, I've grown to learn how much more precious to the Lord our worship is to Him, and how important it is that we spend time dwelling in His presence. We were created to worship the Lord and fellowship with Him. It is with this recording that I again offer up my praise and my unending worship to the King of kings and Lord of lords; my God, my Savior, and my Deliverer. He is truly worthy of our praise. As the music plays, continue to worship God and magnify Him, enlarging your vision of who He is. I want to say 'thank you' to all of the people at Calvary Temple in Indianapolis for allowing me to worship the Lord from my instruments in the many services we've had over the years. My prayer is that the Spirit of worship will always be there and in the hearts of the people. It has been my privilege. In memory of my Grandmother, Dorothy Smith---In the years since my last recording, she has gone to be with the Lord. She played my music every day while she worshipped the Lord. I miss her very much. My memories of her worshipping God and exalting Him long precede the day I ever played a note on a musical instrument. Her inspiration and encouragement helped me hold on to a tender heart in a hard-hearted world.
