Cari Dell, born and raised in Austin, Texas, knows what it takes to compete in the," Live Music Capitol of the World". Cari took her first guitar lesson at the age of 12 and has never looked back! Cari fronts her four-piece band with crystal clear vocal and mind blowing guitar work. She is known for her energetic live performances and guitar showmanship. Her electrifying guitar strokes have been compared to such greats as Carlos Santana, Eric Johnson, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. She has a guitar style that is very imaginative and memorable. Cari's voice has an innocent, soulful quality that evokes emotion and beauty in each of her songs. Cari is an accomplished lead guitarist and gifted singer songwriter who has developed an electric sound blending her love for melodic Pop-Rock and R&B. Cari was recently awarded the RADIO SIX INTERNATIONAL,"2003 RECORD OF THE YEAR", in Glasgow, Scotland for her song, "A Thing For Me". She also received the runner-up honors for her song, "The Trial". According to RADIO SIX INTERNATIONAL, this is the first time in the history of their station that the same artist received the # 1 and # 2 spots! Cari's song, "The Starting Line", reached # 34 on www.mp3.com North American New Country charts on August 6, 2002, and "Anything You Want To Do", reached # 1 in Colorado on www.mp3.com's Pop-Rock category. Cari has proven to be a multifaceted artist who has scored music for film, radio drama, and has worked hard at promoting her original music. Cari's songs are infectious and identifiable. She takes you on a musical journey featuring an array of emotion. John Lennon, Elton John, The Beatles, The Moody Blues, U2, and film composer John Williams are some of the artists who have influenced and inspired Cari. Cari has played up and down Austin's 6th Street District in such legendary venues as, "The Steamboat", "The 311 Club", and "The Saxon Pub". She has taken her band to Austin's SXSW music festival twice! In 2000, Cari moved her band to Colorado Springs where she quickly earned the reputation as the hardest working band on the Front Range, playing every mountain bar from Cripple Creek to Denver. Realizing the limitations associated with playing the Colorado market, Cari decided to make Las Vegas her home base. She could now test the waters in the western states. Cari Dell and the Hard Drives are now a four piece band featuring: Michael Brown on bass, Al Smith on drums, Troy Jones on keys, and Cari Dell on lead guitar and vocals. A combination of her stage presence, vocals, songwriting, and lead guitar work all showcase Cari Dell's potential for commercial success. Cari is currently focusing on finding management to help promote her debut CD, "Different Dreams". Cari is actively submitting her music to radio stations and management companies. Cari's ultimate dream is to be a successful singer-songwriter and score music for film and television.

Lyrics
I DON'T THINK I'M COMING BACK So much has happened Don’t think you could understand All the things that I have lived Lost more than I could show or give (CHORUS) And I don’t think I’m coming back I lost everything I had I don’t think I could find my way back I lost everything I had So much that I have loved Has left my side one by one Family is all I’ve known Now I stand here all alone (CHORUS) (SOLO) So I must leave you here today Please forgive me for I love you But love is the one thing I can’t provide It’s all I fear and hold inside (CHORUS) And I don’t think I’m coming back I lost everything I had I don’t think I’m going back I lost everything I had (3X) I don’t think I could find my way back I lost everything I had
