Story behind the song

I was tinkering around with one of my other songs, playing it a couple of frets higher than normal, and I suddenly got this mental image of water bubbling up through a crack in the earth. The music is very similar to one of my earlier tracks, but misses the lyrics. It does, however, keep some of the hidden musical overtones, so I developed it over the next few minutes into a piece I can happily play anywhere in a set.
