Story behind the song
Legaliztion of the Psilocybe Mushroom (L.P.M.). I have no idea where the random percussion track came from; I found it recorded on a single track of my Tascam Porta 02 4-track recorder. My friend Martin Geppert heard it, and starting playing ear tweeking, crazy guitar playing with wild effects, so I decided to record him along with the conga track. Later I added my own guitar track attempting to communicate with Martin's guitar using an allen wrench on my guitar with lots of effects. The voices you hear in the background are all Martin. The final result sounded really psychedelic so I decided to call it L.P.M., an acronym for Legalization of the Psilocybe Mushroom.
