Independence Day (Regeneration version)
It's a song about a campout by the lake on Independance Day. I accidentally started a forest fire the size of a football feild that we had to put out.

Story behind the song
We were camping on top of a hill of the Forth of July in 2000 on Cherokee Lake in Morristown, TN. I was shooting fireworks, and one started a forest fire the size of a football feild. My friends and I had to put it our with rakes, shovels, blankets, buckets of water, and whatever else we could find to be of any use. We ended up blown out of our minds afterwards, because we had discovered that somebody was growing something a litte extra green on that hill.
The last verse is about a day we spent on a pontoon boat. We had driven the boat from German Creek Boat Dock (where my car was parked) to Morristown. We had been water skiing behind my friend's ski boat on the east Morristown end of the lake. Later on we had to drive the boat all the way back to German Creek to get to my car. But after driving all the way back and walking up a hill to where my car was, I realized that I had left my car keys on my freind's boat back in Morristown. So there was only one thing left to do... drive the boat back to Morristown to get my keys. Just as we got out to the middle of the lake, the float boat ran out of gas. So we were stuck for about an hour; when, finally, a Seadoo came along and towed us back to the dock. None of us had a cell phone so we had to walk about two miles to the nearest phone at the German Creek bar. The song is basically a summary of our summer of 2000, the shows we played under the band name "Endless Observe", and the good times we had on the lake, the stage, and our parties at the lake house.
Lyrics
Drunk on Monday, high on Tuesday,
hung over on Wednesday,
let's get some liquor for the weekend.
Cause we're going to German Creek,
better grab yourself a bag a reefer,
'Cause if you don't throw in, then you ain't smoking.
Cause we're gonna rock that house,
and people ain't having no doubts
that Endless Observe can really play.
We had fifty-one bottles of Zima,
and Mary Jane had me scheming
of laying her down on the hill.
Cause we were camping on the fourth of July,
And my fireworks kept flying
untill one started a forest fire.
And my freinds went f*** ing crazy,
our girls got a little lazy,
and chilled on the dock while we put out that fire.
But that was just fine with me,
cause my eyes were too squinted to see,
cause we looked in that fire n said
"Holy sh** that's weed!"
And now we're listening to Buffet,
and some Bob Marley tunes
with three inch tweets bustin' on a Cherokee lake cruise.
And we had just docked my float boat,
and we were walking to my car,
but I'd forgot my keys in Morristown;
it was a long damn walk to the bar.
Another crazy summer day,
giving us a song to play,
I just hope my friends like the sound.
