THE BROKEN MAN
God you fix this
Broken Man
Your endless love
I could never comprehend
Till I realized
You are the Son of Man
That you died for me
And rose from the dead
You give me daily bread
You breathe in me new life
I want to be with you
in Heaven's Paradise
I took you for granted
But now I'm enchanted
You give me living water
So my soul will not suffer
I was a broken man
With a broken heart
A soul that was
Lost and torn apart
Coursing through me
Like a shark
Till His light shun
Through the dark
This worldly depression
Became my obsession
What's the point of livin
If you just keep stressin?
When it comes to Christ
Don't be second guessin
When you come to Christ
Just give Him your confession
When I was depressed
I thought there was no cure
Till I came to Him
He's the one true cure
For He's all that's pure
And through His love I'm sure
I thought there was no cure
For my broken heart
I had a girlfriend
But she's lost in the dark
And that truly breaks my heart
If I knew any better
I'd confess to her Christ
And show her His love letter
And tell her of paradise
To live is Christ
God you fix this
Broken Man
Your endless love
I could never comprehend
Till I realized
You are the Son of Man
That you died for me
And rose from the dead
You give me daily bread
You breathe in me new life
I want to be with you
in Heaven's Paradise
I took you for granted
But now I'm enchanted
You give me living water
So my soul will not suffer
I was a fool
Following after the world
I had so many regrets
When I lost my baby girl
I shed so many tears
Wasted a couple years
Until I realized
The reason we're here
To live for Christ
He's the engineer
Be not afraid
He wipes away my tears
I want to reign with Him
In millenial years
I will live for Christ
Till I leave this sphere
I take His Word
Create my atmosphere
And that Holy scripture
I hold it near and dear
No more depression
I get myself in gear
What in this world
Do I have to fear?
The only one I fear
Is God Himself
Christ died for me
So now I die to self
I know I am a mess
That much I confess
But I know you died for me
To set my soul free
