Story behind the song
story behind the song: yesterday saw a pair of canadian geese using a small puddle for a pond, (by a wetland so their real estate agent might have had them checking it out) which reminded me of a pair of injured geese i used to know. as per the circle of life one year there was just one, the next none. i had grown fond of them on my walks, this is something for me to remember them by. though the lyrics seem sad, i was trying to celebrate their life not their passing.
