story behind the song: we all know an aspiring someone that we can say "i knew them when ...". apologies in advance, i saw Catherine MacLellan last night (gorgeous songs, beautiful voice). she had a couple of sing alongs i couldn't partake in, i think i was 15 again voice was cracking terribly yesterday that's why i didn't finish this til today. however because of her, i did try to actually sing this one hence the apologies in advance. (and yes i had some lemon tea, chicken soup et al before bed last night)
