My second version of this song, which was originally a collaboration with Terry Wigmore!
electro pop
I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Lyrics
Sun On Stone (Shields/Wigmore) Sun on stone, my mind is racing onward, Sun Stones, of the ancient races, projecting upwards, into heaven, a force to reach distant places, for where they walked, they left their traces (Repeated) Scattered here and there, scattered everywhere, in the atoms and the clouds, in the mercury of the Hatter, in the drums that ring so loud, And in the rhythms of the tribes, as they gather in the jungle, gather together, as we walk together, and all we have to do, is to clasp our hands together, And look up to the heavens at night, to the stars so bright, round the fire, round the fire that burns inside, round the fire that gives us laughter and hope, until we die! Till our souls take flight, fly up to the LIGHT! Sun on stone, my mind is racing, Sun Stones of the ancient faces, Sun on Stone, white as bone, shooting up their rays, Sun on Stone, Sun on Stone, come on home, come on home! (Repeat first verse....etc)
