Story behind the song
The title track from the album was influence by one of my favorite producer and DJs, Josh Wink. Josh was the first techno artist that I sought after. I was driving the guys at the local record store crazy trying to find as much of his work as possible. At that time most of Josh’s music was only available in Europe and I had to “special” order it. Also much of his work was only released on vinyl. Today there are no worries in that department. Amazon and Beatport make sure I have all the Josh Wink I can handle! This track is straight hard techno. All the drums come from the Roland TR-909, which is the most used drum machine in techno and house music. The keyboards are very aggressive and powerful. The lead keyboards are accompanied by low synth bass and very high-end atmospheric sounds effects. Total power!
