WALK ON WATER
I was sailing in my boat on the river of my life
I thought it was a never ending stream
There was laughter there was fun oh but when the day was done
I’d fall asleep at night and dream a dream
Storms would overtake my boat, I could barely stay afloat
At times it seemed that I would surely die
There was emptiness within cause my life was filled with sin
I’d lie there in my bed and I would cry
Come on and walk on water with Him
Yes you can walk on water with Him
Resist the devil he will flee
you see the Son has set you free
And you can walk on water with Him
Then I heard a friend one day saying there’s a better way
A man called Jesus came to set you free
Gave His life upon a cross so your soul would not be lost
Just take Him at His word and you will see
That you can walk on water with Him
Yes you can walk on water with Him
He came to set the captives free
and give us life eternally
Now we can walk on water with Him
So let us walk on water with Him
Come on and walk on water with Him
cause when you let my Jesus in
then He will take on all your sin
and you can walk on water with Him
