Hi, my name is Julie Chow, and I am a singer-songwriter who is currently based in San Francisco, California. I have released four self-produced albums: When Desires Collide (in 2001), The Stars Shine Bright Tonight (in 2002), Momentarily Disreplaced (in 2003) and Wheel of Fortune (Narcissus & the Echo) (2004). Story behind the song

Written in 3/3 time. Radiohead-ish, reminiscent of "Dollars and Cents", especially the wailing bit in between the verses. Dark and dramatic.

Formerly titled, "If It Were My Choice, It Wouldn't Be Like This", "Scarless" came shortly after the song "Stuff Making Dreams" (Track 11 off Momentarily Disreplaced) lyrically, as a kind of response to the latter (although musically, it was the other way around). The narrator realizes that they are causing pain to their partner, but nonetheless, refuse to relinquish them despite the relationship's violent, destructive nature.
