Story behind the song
A song that was shy upon its first public performance, "Lazy Highway '84" made is debut during a final breakgig performance at the Singapore American School in May 2002. The sole optimistic sounding track on Stars, "Highway" captured the feeling of driving down an open road with the sun shining down and open space all around. The image portrayed is almost Edward Hopper-esque, but not quite.
