Story behind the song
Brand new song completed in 2003. The latest evolution in my songwriting. Intended as an affront to politicians who are basically out for their own personal gain and not for their constituents' interests. Let your representatives know that if they don't do what you expect, they can expect to be out of a job... This song started with the bass part, which was actually inspired by a rhythm I started playing on the back of my dog Hershey when she was trying to wake me up one morning... instead of walking her, I ran and recorded the bass intro! It didn't take but a moment, and she was out doing her morning biz in no time! :-) Check out the killer dual guitar solo!
