Voluntary Insanity is the brain child of Andrew Mckenzie. Andrew is a US Army and Afghanistan war veteran. He started writing the songs soon to be included in the Voluntary Insanity catalog while on deployment in Afghanistan in 2010. Landmine one of the first songs written. It tells the tale of being on patrol and someone in his platoon stepping on a explosive device and the emotions that go with it. Andrew was a Forward Observer in the Army. Andrew describes the act of joining the Army and being with the infantry as a act of Voluntary Insanity.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not yet, band is just forming but we will be heard of.
