This song is about individuality and not going with the trends. It's very topical given all the press that the clothing giant mentioned in the song title is having.

Classic Rock

The Duke Street Kings are a Denver, CO-based band that plays originals and tasty covers of blues, soul, motown, classic and current rock.
Band/artist history
The Duke Street Kings Band were first together in 1981 and 1982. We were a college band that played around Denver, Colorado. We played at Sam's on Lookout Mountain (how many bands can still claim that), Lakeside Amusement Park and lots of other college bars and parties. We then broke up and went our separate ways. In 1998 a twist of fate brought Alan Hines (lead guitar) and Ranger Miller (vocals & harmonica) back together. The Kings have changed shape a bit since that time. The current lineup includes Tica Perri (vocals), Scott Shreeve (vocals & percussion), Matt Martin (guitars), Ed May (bass), and Gordon Steward (drums).
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Our Stage show includes imitations of Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Austin Powers, and Elvis. We play weddings, divorce parties, animal spadings, wakes, and even the occasional briss as well as varied and sundry local gin joints. The Kings play live around the Denver Metro area but have been known to sneak out to ski towns in the Rockies, and cow towns in Wyoming.
Your musical influences
We play blues, soul, motown, classic rock, contempory rock, and contemporary blues. In addition to our own originals, we cover songs from the likes of the The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis, the Allman Brothers, Van Morrison, Susan Tedeschi, to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
These days, guitars include Les Pauls, Strats, Teles, Gretsch Jets, ES-335s, etc. Amps are Fender, Mesa-Boogie, THD. Recordings were done with the aformentioned gear as well as the Line6 PODxt and Toneport UX2
