Band/artist history
We Were Born. We Sucked. We got Better We recorded an album We got Better than That. We Got a new drummer. We played Gigs at parties and conventions We played Gigs at bars We're recording more stuff We'll Play More Gigs We'll eventually die. The End
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we gig live, and we've played several bars here in Orlando. None regularly, though. We'd have to give up our day jobs to do that. We all love getting up onstage and making musical sounds- the bonus is that we get paid for it, and invariably some very good looking girl will stagger up to the stage and request "Brown Eyed Girl." Fortunately, we haven't gotten sick of playing that one yet. Perhaps it's the good looking girls requesting it. Every moment onstage is special, although our first paying gig was kinda neat- Larry the Cable Guy (Git 'er Done...) was in town and we were asked if he could do a few minutes of his stuff. It was 1:30 am, we were tired and dehydrated from being under the lights, so we let Larry close for us! (Got pictures somewhere...)
Your musical influences
The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Doors, The Blues Brothers, John Lee Hooker, The Eagles, the Flaming Lips, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Yes, Monty Python, Apollo Smile, Steve Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, lots more I can't think of without the rest of the guys.
What equipment do you use?
We use Alesis synths for our synth stuff. NanoSynth, NanoBass, and 2 NanoPianos. We also have a Roland SC-55 mk II, and a Yamaha Tg-100. It's all cabled together with more cable than our Keyboardist, Chris, likes to play with.
Anything else?
