Band Bio: Tinnitus was formed in 1996 by Crumpy in Jefferson City, Mo.
After years of hometown giging Tinnitus had honed their blend of original groove driven rock & metal enough to launch themselves into the Midwest touring circuit in 1999 with the D.I.Y. CD release "Bigger Than Jesus".
Late 2001 Gold Star Talent began promoting Tinnitus worldwide via Internet and hardmarket promotions.
In 2002 the Bands Street team was launched by MILITIA PROMOTIONS thus giving fans tools to become more interactive in Tinnitus' career by aiding in promoting the band in their home towns and they earn prizes from TINNITUS like CDs, stickers and T-Shirts to concert passes, personal meet & greets and much more!
In fall 2002 Tinnitus the band headed back into the studio, and the 2003 Gold Star Records / Indie Records release "Better Than Sex" was born.
2003 Tinnitus became proud members of HEAVYCORE the brotherhood of underground and national heavy metal, thrash, speed, grindcore bands such as GWAR, Cannibal Corpse, Pro- Pain, Metalblade Records, and hundreds of great metal bands worldwide.
In Spring/Summer 2004 Tinnitus gained several sponsorships and third-party record label promotional support from labels like Rotting Corpse Records, Rock M. Hard Records, 7 Records and many more!
