Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The foundation of the band begins with Larry Noel and Scott Siller, two Brooklyn-nites who have been friends and band-mates for years. Scott Hamilton rounds out the band with his extraordinary skills and talent as a drummer and band-mate. Lastly, is the addition of James Zoleo, our Lead Vocalist and Front Man. James' skills, talent and contibutions both on and off stage are immeasurable.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Stone Asylum plays the NYC clubs and bars focused on the "Original Music" Circuit.
Your musical influences
Everything from Elvis and The Beatles to Kiss to Queen. Progressive Rock, Classic Rock, Jazz and Modern Power Pop even Bugs Bunny has influenced us musically.
What equipment do you use?
Good old eletric guitars, basses, drums and keyboards, coupled with a few chords, notes and melodies give us 100% desire to play and write good music.
