First of all, I'm not really a band. I'm a guy who writes music because it feels so amazingly good. I love to go back and play my music to myself because it sooths me. I love how I don't have to play it any other way than the way I want to play it. But I also LOVE to play to other people because I love to play to other people. It just feels great.
Band/artist history
I had an affair with music at an early age, what can I say. I can't get away from it now. And believe me, I will NEVER cheat on it. NEVER. But truly, music has been so good to me. I have been practicing piano for 11 years and because of that, now I can play out my emotions. Sounds corny, I know, but it's TRUE! I have written so many songs either inspired or actually for my girlfriend, Britta Anderson because I just needed to let out all my glorious feelings for her.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play in various gigs. That last gig I played in earned me 200 bucks. Don't worry, I didn't forget about the Tsunami victims in 2004. I gave every one of those bucks to them through a fund raiser in school.
Your musical influences
My brother, Whitaker Blackall's music influences me because he is such an AMAZING song writer. Along with him, I am influenced by The Beatles, Radiohead, Ben Folds, Supertramp, George Winston and Joni Mitchell (much more I'm sure...I can't really think of more right now).
What equipment do you use?
I'm not really sure what electronica is...and I don't play techno. But I guess I would say, my yamaha mixer...and my sax, clarinet and piano.
Anything else?
I'll always be rich but I might not have much money.
